Remember Roman Martin’s story we sent out in June? He is the 16-year-old who started up a fundraising campaign by collecting pledges for goals he kicked during his soccer games. We hoped it would inspire other people to tell their stories and journeys with SPD and send them in to us. Here is the first story we are highlighting below. Help Us HelpHave you always wanted to find a way to pay it forward and somehow help other families living with SPD? Well we have many ways you can help. Organize or participate in a fundraiser or help your child create a fundraising campaign through the sport they play by gathering pledges for goals, baskets, or runs they make. Maybe you have a few hours a week when the kids are in school and you can volunteer your time. Make the SPD Foundation one of your charity contributions for the year. Ask for donations in lieu of gifts for different family events. Become a Parent Connections Host and meet regularly with other parents of SPD. Those are just a few ideas. |
Staff Happenings

Early this summer our staff got together to go on a half-day raft trip. It was a wonderful way to bond, trust, and have a great time together. We were all pretty exhausted when it was all over, but we are already looking forward to doing it again next year.
